An Update to GregTech has been released!
Cue the fully automatic Changelog:
New better Recipes for making Chisel and File Molds. This should make the Earlygame less Chicken and Eggy.
6.16.01:
[IMPROVED] The GT Wrenches can now harvest some Machines from other Mods too. Specifically Applied Energistics, Forestry, Funky Locomotion and Railcraft. Buildcraft and Minefactory Reloaded were already on that List.
[FIXED] a Serverside Only Crash because the Lang File does not exist on Servers. Happened while I made Books localizable, lol. But itâs fixed now.
[FIXED] Electric Wires and cables did not connect properly to other Mods Blocks, especially IC2, but only when Funky Locomotion was NOT installed.
[ADDED] AE Quartz Fixtures count as Torches to GT6 Tools now.
[ADDED] Sensor Blocks can now be crafted into themselves to wipe their Settings.
[ADDED] Clay Mold Recipes for Files and Chisels. It is a Stick and a Plank, or two Planks, along with the Clay Mold.

An Update to GregTech has been released!
Cue the fully automatic Changelog:
I added back the Magic Energy Absorber. It emits different Types of Power depending on the Trophy you put ontop of it at a rate of 64 Power Units per tick. This Crucible Setup is powered by the Hydra Head (HU), supplied with Air by the Naga Head (KU) and the Mold is cooled down by the Snow Queen Head (CU). The Machine casing is made of Palladium by the way, so itâs either post-platinum-group-sludge or post-go-to-the-end.

[IMPORTANT]
There is a going to be new Fluid Property that makes it more difficult to pipe and store Magical Fluids! Many Containers will no longer be able to hold Magical Fluids, with few exceptions.
Palladium, TaHfC and Tungsten based Alloys will be able to store Magical Fluids
Magical Materials like Ironwood, Thaumium, Netherite, Adamantium and Mana Steel will be able to hold Magical Fluids.
The Thermos will be able to hold Magical Fluids, it is not because Aluminium (which normally WONT), it is because of the Vacuum.
Dedicated vanilla Glass Bottles will continue to hold their Magical Fluids.
Wooden Buckets will still be able to handle Rainbow Tree Sap. The Sap Bag in general is also not affected by this Change.
Right now you will only hear a fizzing noise to warn you ahead of that later update, if what your Pipes, Containers and Stuff handle might not be safely contained. Things like Barrels inside of Inventories are not hit by this until you place them down.
Once the next Update is out, Tanks will behave as if you stored Acid in a non-acid-proof Tank. They will even spawn Thaumcraft Flux Goo/Gas if it is installed.
[IMPROVED] Terrafirmacraft Blocks when harvested with GT Tools will use four times less durability, in order to make my Tools on par with TFC Axes/Pickaxes/Shovels. Better Solution than just mindlessly buffing my Tools for everything.
[IMPROVED] Item Filter Covers can now also do Wildcard. Just click a second time with the same Item.
[COMPAT] Bluepower, Project Red, Biomes OâPlenty, Applied Energiestics, The Betweenlands and Twilight Forest now have better Stone Type Support, and also some minor Recipe fixes.
[COMPAT] The Bedrock Drill in Twilight Forest will now prefer to produce Vanilla Stone (and Deepslate, should it exist), along with Obsidian, Deadrock, Trollsteinn, Castlerock and Mazestone.
[COMPAT] RF Drills Motors can now be made in a GT6 Canning Machine.
[COMPAT] Et Futurum Requiem should be updated to latest if you dont have already.
[COMPAT] Twilight Forest Magic Maps, Maze Maps and Ore Maps now have Scanner and Printer Recipes respectively. By the way did you know the Maze Map works literally ANYWHERE and not just Mazes? You just need a relatively flat Dungeon or Mineshaft to go through, or maybe even your Base!
[FIXED] My Betweenlands Durability usage check for GT Tools did the opposite of what it was actually supposed to do, and made âBetweenlands Material GT Toolsâ worse instead of making âNON-Betweenlands Material GT Toolsâ Worse.
[FIXED] Village Names should no longer crash with the Blacksmith Chest.
[FIXED] I did something about the inability to use Pumps with Fluid Filters, it should somewhat work now. It will NOT work on Multiblocks unless you do it at their Main Block.
[FIXED] Et Futurum Grass Path Conversion should work better, and even if you DO get stuck you can at least walk out of it easier now.
[FIXED] Oil Sands were not outputting the right amount of Oil ever since I added the vanilla âRaw Oreâ Items. It went unnoticed because GT6 itself does not generate Oil Sands.
[FIXED] Looting Bullets and Arrows were not working in Twilight Forest due to the Fake Player not having Progression Achievements.
[FIXED] Magical Bumblebees can now use (placed or not) Rainbow Leaves as their Flowers, so that they now also work without any other Mods.
[CHANGED] Werebane Enchantment now also works on Minotaurs. Good for Twilight Mazes.
[CHANGED] Wooden Barrels and Plastic Canisters can now have decorative nonfunctional Covers attached to them. Now you can put Hazard Stickers on them, lol.
[CHANGED] Blacksmith Loot Chest is now made of Meteoric Steel instead of regular Steel, unless Village Names is installed.
[CHANGED] Zombies now always trample Farmland, whenever they happen to walk on it. They donât âintentionallyâ trample it.
[CHANGED] When Guns are used against other Players they will only do half Damage, because Guns are way overkill otherwise. You can also finally hit the Ender Dragon and End Crystals too. Also Magical Damage from Enchantments will now be doubled or tripled for the Medium and Large Bullets, to correspond with the increased Normal Damage.
[CHANGED] Smite 3+ Bullets can break the Twilight Lich Barrier, making it possible to actually harm the Lich in Multiplayer when your pingâs ass.
[CHANGED] Railcrafts Implosion Enchantment (if on a GT6 Item) is now more Effective against all kinds of Ghasts. Also if you have Implosion and Fire Aspect on the same Projectile, the Fire Aspect will NOT ignite the Creeper like it usually would.
[CHANGED] Bottles of Fiery Blood and Fiery Tiers now contain 250L instead of 144L of their respective Liquids. This makes it cheaper to use the new Fiery Steels for things when using the dropped Bottles in the Bath.
[ADDED] Recipes to perpetually get otherwise non-renewable Loot Stuff out of Twilight Forest Trophies. The Trophies act as Catalysts and you have to supply some other Material to convert it.
[ADDED] Magic Field Absorber. It generates 64 of whatever Energy the thing placed ontop of it makes. Dragon Eggs are Quantum Units and Twilight Forest Trophies have KU, QU, HU, LU and CU in this order.
[ADDED] Boxinator can now assemble empty Maps. Also applies to the two Twilight Forest Maps.
[ADDED] The Grindstone can now disenchant Tools and give XP for doing so. Does not work on GT Tools for obvious reasons.
[ADDED] Handheld Tachometer and Electrometer which work on Wires, Axles and Custom Gearboxes only.
[ADDED] Vine Ropes. Also you can now harvest Vines with GT6 Swords and Knifes.
[ADDED] Salted Water, which is just the KCl version of Saltwater. Adjusted and added some Chemistry Recipes for that.
[ADDED] Some AE Sky Stone is now in every GT6 Dungeon, enough for at least one Controller. It can be found somewhere in the Sleeping Area.
[ADDED] Non-Functional-Tools, which are similar to the Robot Arm Tips in that they can be used as Single Use Tools in Crafting, but look uglier. This is mostly only useful for things like Applied Energistics or Logistics Pipes, which cannot handle NBT very well. You can mint them by putting Tiny Steel or Rubber Plates and Robot Arm Tips into a Boxinator. The Robot Arm Tips will not be used up.
[ADDED] Drain Covers can now partially drain GT6 Fluid Blocks.
[ADDED] Allowing Selector Tags 2 to 9 in the Blueprint Slot of the Advanced Crafting Table for helping with Shapeless Recipes. The Slotâs Tooltip has been changed to mention that too.
[ADDED] The Tier 2 Boxinator can now make Twilight Forests Giant Blocks, as long as you use a Giant Pickaxe as âCatalystâ. The Giant Pickaxe will not be used up, and it will accept damaged ones too.
[ADDED] Meteoric Steels and Damascus Steel can now be upgraded with Twilight Forests Fiery Blood or Fiery Tears for improving Tool Quality, Tool Speed, Mazebreaking, Fire Aspect and Autosmelt.
[ADDED] Arsenic Copper (Cu+Cu+Cu+As) and Arsenic Bronze (Cu+Cu+Cu+As+Sn), with Tool Quality between Bronze and Steel, the Decorative Blocks Set (Hoppers, Shelves etc), Item Pipes, Boilers, Burning Boxes, Steam Engines, Anvils, Earlygame Furnace Compounds like regular Bronze, and a High Level Dissolving Enchantment against Slimes.

Yeah I did a bunch of things. Currently doing a test playthrough of âTwilight Forest Dimension Onlyâ with GT6 and a few other Mods. Currently at the Stage of taking over a Lich Tower, so I can actually start building a proper Base.
One of the stupid things I noticed was that I needed Glue for the Bathing Pot, and Slime was gated behind the Swamp Maze, so I added a Recipe for Torchberries to Glue in the Juicer (and all the other recipes ofc).
Maybe I should actually add Horns, Hoofs and Antlers and Stuff as Mob Drops so I can turn those into Glue instead.

Itâs been a long time since Iâve used Ă2, will this affect progression? As far as I know right now, Ă2 requires HV to unlock in GT6

The Sky Stone is mixed from olivine dust and other Gt rocks and gems. Then baked. So the Sky Stone isnât the hard part.
AE2 is still gated behind HV power level for engraving the circuits required to start.

AE2 requires always on power (RF or EU). You canât keep an AE2 system online if you struggle to reach HV once. I feel like unlocking Titanium engines was what enabled me to make HV long enough to print those circuits.

There has been a hack going around in the modded minecraft landscape that is often referred to as âPipeBleedâ.
GregTech was never affected by this but I still think it is important that you look into your Mods to see if it is fixed in your Modpack, because dozens of big Mods have this Issue. This shit is just as bad as the log4shell exploit.

[FIXED] Accidentially deleting all Furnace Smelting Recipes of HBMâs Nuclear Tech Mod.
[FIXED] Crucible Crossings did not always work all that well when multiple Faucets and Molds tried to pour at the same time.
[FIXED] Glass Bottle of Holy Water was not able to cure Zombies at all whatsoever, even with the Weakness Potion Effect.
[FIXED] Mercury Bottle Recipes had some blatant copypasta errors, causing a massive duplication Recipe.
[FIXED] GT6 Tools made out of Thaumcrafts Void Metal will now have the appropriate âWarping Iâ Effect on them.
[CHANGED] Added a Maximum Range to Nuclear Radiation of 200 for a running Reactor and 500 for an âexplodingâ one. (exploding is currently limited to just deleting its Inventory)
[CHANGED] The Magnetic Separator can now also deal with Fluids. unsure if I am gonna use that for anything though.
[CHANGED] Twilight Forest Loot Chests are replaced with GregTech ones and added some more Loot to them⌠They will also contain a few fitting Items from all the Vanilla Loot Tables (you know, the ones other Mods tend to add Stuff to). Note: The Tower Keys inside the Full-Metal Loot Chests in the Dark Tower will drop seperately from the Loot, meaning you can harvest the unopened Loot Chest, as you do with all the others, and still get the Key inside of it.
[CHANGED] Twilight Bunnies now drop the same Stuff Et Futurum Rabbits do, or Harvestcrafts Rabbit Meat.
[CHANGED] Enchanted Books are now stackable but BEWARE that vanilla Anvils will eat the entire Stack you insert so dont keep it stacked in its UI.
[CHANGED] Scythe cannot mine Lily Pads and similar anymore.
[ADDED] GT6 Pickaxes now have the ability to penetrate Armor. They are still not considered Weapons for sake of Enchantments though, and they have crap Damage Stats.
[ADDED] Opening GT6 Loot Chests will now give quite a bit of XP. Remember you can just take unopened Loot Chests home and open them there for safety and less Inventory clutter.
[ADDED] Villagers can now be lured with vanillas Emerald Items, similar to how Wheat works with Cows.
[ADDED] Tusks, Hoofs, Horns and Antlers as Drops for various Mobs. Primarily as a way to make Glue early on.
[ADDED] Rainbowood Fluid Barrel which is roughly on par with the Ironwood Barrel.

The Twilight Forest Guide Book is still a work in progress because I am writing it as I am playing. Right now I am in the middle of the Dark Tower.
The Book itself is available ingame, and I repurposed the Twilight Portal Guide found in some GT6 Dungeons to add all the Information. The Guide Book can also sometimes be found in the Twilight Forest at the 1x1 Wells, the ruined Basements, the big segments of the Dark Tower, and the Libraries in the Lich Tower.
I have looked through a lot of Twilight Forests Code for this to see how everything works, or in some cases if it works at all (which it doesnât alwaysâŚ), and ofcourse noted down those instances of things not working as intended. There is also quite a few interesting little secrets I found out.
Anyways, released slightly early to make sure GT6 stays compatible with the upcoming version of Et Futurum Requiem, because of a slight crash bug. ^^
Villagersâ obnoxiousness to handle is a plight upon Minecraft, thank God for this QoL fix
