So, would the Reactor Core recipe change really happen? I’m pretty looking forward.

Pretty sure I did that one, yes. Not everything is mentioned in the Changelog.

An Update to GregTech has been released!
Cue the fully automatic Changelog:
Felt like adding a Bottle Crate, I improved some parts of the backend a bit to make Blocks that can keep Items easier to implement. Each of the 9 Slots can contain a whole Stack of (potentially filled) Glass Bottles, to whatever stacksize you hold in your Hand.
6.15.07:
[COMPAT] WarpDrive should now accept GT6 Energy even if IC2 and CoFH are not installed.
[COMPAT] Extra Planets now has some Material and Wood Data associated with it.
[FIXED] Beds stack to 64 now, because what the actual fuck did Notch think when having its Max be ONE…
[FIXED] Wild Bumblehives wont drop any Bumblebees anymore, when burned or destroyed by anything that is technically not a Player. This should also fix them showing up in the Ender Garbage List.
[FIXED] Sifting Table will only make noise when there actually is an Input while operating it.
[FIXED] Crucible Crossings were looping exponentially by accident, instead of just doing a simple floodfill, resulting in lag when placing too many in a circle.
[FIXED] All Pipes, Wires and Axles had wrong Hardness Values, resulting in them being harder to break than they were supposed to.
[FIXED] Dust Funnel should now only update its top Texture once per second, in sync with all the other Stuff to reduce Render Update Lag.
[CHANGED] Using Geothermal Hot Spring Water in a Heat Exchanger will net you Mineral Water now instead of regular Water. I added a Distillery/Dryer Recipe for making it into Distilled Water too, so some Setups wont need to be changed.
[CHANGED] Radiation now works with the same System that Food uses to apply Potion Effects. This makes the Radaway Pill much more effective (and no longer hidden from NEI), and by extension also the Cure-All Pill. Please be aware that Radiation will not decrease over time, like the Food related Stats do.
[CHANGED] Vanilla Ores will no longer generate indicator Rocks.
[ADDED] Recipe for Aluminium Hydroxide to Alumina in the Dryer.
[ADDED] NEI Hint for how to get Noble Gasses.
[ADDED] Rails can now be made on an Anvil using Item Casings.
[ADDED] Bottle Crate
A portable Block that can store 9 stacks of (potentially filled) Glass Bottles.
It is mostly decorative, because I felt like adding it, but it does have some minor purpose to it too, I guess.
Also supports HBM’s Fallout Bottles, though they dont contain any actual Fluid, so I made them fallback to something that looks like Cola.
They also generate in Workshop Rooms in the GT6 Dungeons, potentially containing Mercury Bottles too.

Whoops, just a minor thing that might be an annoyance to people, the previous Version will be hidden, this Version is compatible with other Versions when joining Servers just like always. The Bug was just that a nearly empty NBT Tag was saved to almost all my TileEntities. That and settings didnt get saved to Mass Storages anymore, which is what i get for trying to improve the backend of TileEntities that store their Inventory in Item form.

An Update to GregTech has been released!
Cue the fully automatic Changelog:
Guns, the Bullets have not been added for nothing! I had to rewrite the ray-trace (not the graphics one) to actually make these work, which is why I procrastinated it originally, since I did not properly understand the Maths behind it until now.
6.15.09:
[COMPAT] Bottlecrates now accept Biomes o’Plenty Jars too. Also Unification now targets the Biomes o’Plenty Gems, except for Amber which might need the Generifier if Thaumcraft is installed.
[CHANGED] The Enchanted Material System got some backend changes, nothing should be significantly changed or different! Except the Tooltips and Guide Books, which might be a bit more precise.
[ADDED] Tooltips now show what Materials you can get from Ores and Crushed Ores, making things more easy to understand.
[ADDED] Pistols, Carbines and Rifles (all singleshot semi-auto)
It uses the GT6 Bullets as Ammo. Generally Heavier Bullets are better than Lighter ones (the Bullet Casing doesn’t count towards the weight), and Tool Quality ONLY matters for the Gun itself and not the Bullets.
Now that makes Lead, Gold and Uranium obvious Bullet Materials, but do not forget that Steel, despite being much lighter, does have the Sharpness Enchantment on it, same goes for various Alloy Enchantments. Netherite, which is made of 4 Debris and 4 Gold per 1 Ingot is quite dense by the way.
Small Golden Bullets are perfect for one-shotting unarmored vanilla Undead as long as the Gun you use is made of a Tier 4 or higher Material, such as Netherite. If you want to use Tier 2 Guns, Platinum Bullets do the trick too.
While Looting does indeed work on a Bullet, that does usually not make much economical sense to aim for, when selecting what you want to shoot. Do note the Guns themselves cant have Looting on them.
Medium and Large Bullets can pierce through multiple Entities, and tend to deal much more Damage, since they are double or triple the weight.
Glass, Pumpkins, Melons, Cocoa Beans, Cacti and similar can be shot through, breaking the Block into pieces, but slowing down the Bullet a little.
Fire Aspect Bullets and Flame Enchanted Guns will set Entities on Fire (may explodify Creepers), and if their combined Level is 3 or higher, the Bullet will also set Fire to whatever Block it hits.
Shooting from Air into any Liquid will “slow down” Small Bullets and absolutely destroy Medium and Large Bullets. if you want to use Medium or Large Bullets under Water you will have to use the Gun while you are in the Water. Fleeing from another Player by diving into Water can be a viable method of avoiding Bullet related damage.
If you shoot a Mob that has invulnerability Frames, it will ignore that Mob and shoot through it, hitting whatever is behind that Mob.
Fences, Iron Bars, Leaves, Wool, Mob Spawners and similar will just let you shoot through without impeding the Bullet whatsoever.
Endermen require the Bullet to have the Disjunction Enchantment, or them being affected by a Weakness Potion Effect in order to be hit.
The Power Enchantment increases the “speed” of the Bullet, which can make even the basic Pistol a piercing Gun with slightly longer range. The Level of this Enchantment is similar to the Level of Sharpness that the Material you used for the Gun has.
Infinity on the Gun will decrease the amount of Ammo you use, but NOT to zero. It will be based on the “Infinity” Level of the Material you make the Gun of.
Radioactive Bullets that are stored inside the Gun itself will not irradiate you, so as long as you wear a Hazmat while loading that Gun you will be safe.
Armor with Projectile Protection can make a major difference in PvP against Guns.

Glowing green Rambo! Yeah!
I want a bandoleer of glowing green bullets strapped to my char as I rapidly take degen damage like a boss!

It seems that those alloys that yields less units of material than the sum of their constituents give the most density and are thus best bullet materials. Compared with Gold and Uranium which gives 5.0 hearts, Signalum gives 6.5, Soularium and Electrum Flux gives 7.0, Energetic Alloy give 8.0, Vibrant Alloy gives 8.5. Netherite gives a very impressive 20.5, but it’s also very expensive.
Additionally, Electrum Flux gives Disjunction III, Energetic Alloy gives Smite IV, Vibrant Alloy gives Smite V, Soularium gives Looting II, Netherite gives Fire Aspect III.
Also, so sad that Red Alloy can’t be used as bullet material, or it would theoretically be both inexpensive and quite powerful.

The downside of Netherite is, it will cause Fires, lots and lots of Fires.

that’s a downside? also, is phosphorus a valid bullet material?

I dont think that is a valid Bullet Material because of not being a valid Tool Material. But that might be an Idea.

Given that explodes, it’d likely blow up in the gun. Blew up in my face the other day trying to boomstick some phosphorous ore.

6.15.10:
[COMPAT] Railcraft Platforms, Posts and Glass can now be dyed in the Bathing Pot and such. Paint Removal Recipes included, as well as a Press Recipe for those Platforms, so that you can use any Iron or Steel Plates.
[FIXED] Railcrafts Implosion Enchantment did not work with Arrows and Bullets. Now those Projectiles will also get +2 to the Implosion Enchant.
[FIXED] Flint and Tinder, and the other Igniters, can now do Forestry candles. Though remember the chance of ignition failure for the Flint and Steels. Also did you know Forestry Candles can be lit with a Flint too?, And that you can DYE those Candles too using Vanilla Dye Items?, And that it behaves differently depending on the candle being lit or unlit? I sure as heck did not know any of that until now.
[CHANGED] Newly created Looting Arrows and Bullets will now have twice the Looting Enchantment than Melee Weapons of the same Material have.
[CHANGED] If you shoot an Enderman with a Gun and no Teleportation Target is found after 64 tries you will actually hit the Enderman. Under normal circumstances this chance is extremely low.
[ADDED] Bullets can also be made with Bolts now and not just Rounds. Though Bolts are just the slightest bit more wasteful. But hey, Blaze Bullets!

Hahahahaha, yeah the mouse with GUI makes it soooooo much easier to play, apart from wasd (well i mapped it to arrow keys) to move the camera, i dont even use the keyboard anymore.
Some things sometimes are still frustrating, like all GUIs are internally inconsistent, some menus let you close the item category dropdowns (Trade, Stocks) while others dont (Pedestal), even though both are a “Stocks” Menu. Same with Animal assignment, miles better than the original, but its still the “select animal from linear list of all animals” garbage, and dont get me started on the stupidity of the search function not being able to match strings in the names of items…
In a lot of cases I need to unlock my mousewheel just because of having to scroll insanely far down, sure there is the scrollbar on the side i can just click and drag but that’s a mouse movement i dont like doing.
Overall everything is better though, so definitely worth playing. Just be aware those Elves are not only wood lovers but also vegetarians now, so no murdering (or for some reason shearing) animals and selling the results to them. They got angry when i sold meat to them and then they never came back to that fortress anymore.
And because the controls and visuals are so much better, it’s also more fun to explore the different industries, since you have a much more explorable list of buildings and everything you can make.

An Update to GregTech has been released!
Cue the fully automatic Changelog:
Spot the difference!
6.16.00:
[IMPORTANT] I removed “.name” from pretty much all Lang File Entries, because it was absolutely redundant and caused duplicate Entries at times. A simple Search&Replace with “.name=” and “=” BEFORE loading Minecraft, should fix it.
[COMPAT] I added more Betweenlands and Erebus Data and Recipes. Also Limestone is marked as “Betweenlandsproof” since it exists in there too.
[COMPAT] Warp Drive Mod should work with GT6 Machines, Pipes, Wires and Covers and such when it comes to rotating your Ship.
[FIXED] A Tool Crafting Sound Issue on the GT Crafting Table supposedly related to Blueprints. I rewrote the thing so the old Issue is fixed, but I have no Idea if any other Issues showed up that I did not find in testing.
[FIXED] Ender Garbage Bin did not respect its Redstoned State in regards to preventing Fluid Input.
[FIXED] Weight-O-Meter now works on Raw Ore Items in Chests and Stuff.
[FIXED] The Fluid Filter Block was slightly bugged in regards of its GUI. It should now work and have the same special cases as the Fluid Filter Cover.
[FIXED] Basic Machines outputted Items in a bad way, resulting in them getting stuck with their Garbage in the Output Slots.
[FIXED] Extruder Recipes now have two Output Slots in case of certain Recipes that output more than one Stack worth of Stuff.
[FIXED] The RF to GT Converters should work slightly less overloady now.
[FIXED] Efficiency Tooltip of the Electric Engines showed double of what it was supposed to be, because of old code factoring in the push/pull Stuff a second time.
[FIXED] Botania Tools sometimes being eaten by Botania Flowers that happen to consume Furnace Fuel, due to me adding Furnace Fuel Data to their Livingwood Handles.
[FIXED] Language File shouldn’t show certain “localized fluid name to localized fluid name” Entries anymore.
[FIXED] High End Extreme Nuclear Reactors were causing severe Lag due to the absurd range of their Radiation Damage ending up in loading Chunks.
[FIXED] Et Futurum Paths being converted to GT6 Paths shouldn’t make you fall through the ground all that hard anymore.
[CHANGED] A bunch of Plastic and Rubber consuming Recipes are now more oredict sensitive. If anything went wrong with the conversion please report.
[CHANGED] Gibbl-O-Meter can now read how many Nuggets worth of Material are in a Crucible. It rounds up for partial Nuggets. Yes Multiblock Crucible works too for this.
[CHANGED] The Debarker is now renamed to Pressure Washer. It can now also clean Moss off of Stone, and uses a less insane amount of Water overall.
[CHANGED] GT Builder Wand can now place PrefixBlocks, as in the 9xBlocks, the Crates and ofcourse the Ores (might help with placing silktouched Ores for Dynamite use).
[ADDED] Road Stripes, which act like permanent Minecart Booster Tracks. They are integrated into the Streets Worldgen too, as a barely noticeable way of riding a Minecart along the Road. Please note that they are DIFFERENT from regular Rails in a lot of ways, such as lack of Curves or Slopes.
[ADDED] Chemical Recipe for converting Trona to Baking Soda.
[ADDED] Extender Bridges, which work like Extenders but instead of having configurable facings they always connect to the opposite side of the Extender. Good for Pipe Crossings. The Item Pipe Network will NOT be “split up” by using an Inventory Bridge, it will path through it as if its a zero length path.
[ADDED] Leather Armor + Knife = some Leather, in the Crafting Table.
[ADDED] You can generify the various different Light/Medium/Heavy Oil Types into Basic (Buildcraft) Oil at a loss.
[ADDED] Moss Items from other Mods can be rightclicked onto GT6 Stones, if there is a Mossy Version of them.
[ADDED] Config to make GT6 Tree Leaves decay a lot slower. Don’t know why anyone would want it but apparently this would fix Steves Carts Tree Automation.
[ADDED] Small Item Casing Recipe using Tiny Plates on the Crafting Table or the Boxinator.
