One thing I was considering, how about making coloured gravel? Let us make piles of pebbles and then gravel? I’m using etfuturum’s old gravel here as an example as there isn’t any specific gravel block but you get the idea:

Gravel is already considered “Block of Stone Dust” in this case though.
