I noticed this showing as an ingot you can use to make a piston, but it has no recipe to make it, and when I search for it in NEI, it doesn’t show up. What gives? According to the chemical formula, it is an alloy of aluminium and silicon.

Yea, but all of the others I have seen have a recepie even though I don’t have the mod installed. Like the alloys from rotarycraft and enderIO and metallurgy.

Not really. It’s much more common than you’d think, unless you have a veritable truckload of mods.
