Guys I was playing new horizons and I tought pollution wasnt that big of a problem but it already started poisoning me at the middle of the steam age. Did I do something wrong and how can I disable the pollution?

There is no such thing as pollution in GT6, it simply does not exist and is not implemented.
What you MIGHT have encountered instead is the feature that poisons you when you eat too much of the same food in rapid succession. It only happens if you eat like 3 or 4 foods at once. And I really mean rapid succession since the cooldown of it is rather short.
Either that or you had a radioactive item in your Inventory.

Oh thanks! I tought it was pollution because weather was a bit foggy

Watch out for the berries giving you the diabeeeetus! That and purple drink.

I mostly played new horizons 2.3.3 version (only updated to 2.3.6 yesterday). In my experience, pollution is not a big problem, if bricked blast furnaces(4) are in another chunk.
