globbypotato’s Rockhounding Mod expands Minecraft in terms of geology, botany, archaeology, but especially gemology. Due to the amount of gemstones it adds (around 70-80), I definitely don’t expect you to give each and every gemstone/-shard and/or ore/mineral a unique, complex chemical extraction process (especially considering how the mod itself already adds these), but just a bit of interaction would be cool.
