Some small enhancement ideas i found when doing my playthrough

Doing a playthrough (reached crystal processors, graphene and capable of making a nuclear reactor&rods for it). Found some enhancement ideas.

  1. Tools are voided if they fall into crucible. Maybe make it ‘push’ them out on one of sides?
  2. When cliclking a fluid tank with a magnifying glass it makes a random villager sound. Would it be better (if possible) to have pick a sound that is proportional to tank’s fill percentage: Low fluid - lower pitch, full tank - higher pitch.
  3. Carbon mold, just carbon mold. It’s hard to quickly understand what it is for (try guessing what is this one and how many time it took to understand It’s builder wand mold.). Maybe change its color a bit?

  4. Why melter (the one with ceramic crucible in recipe) can’t smelt soldering alloy but can smelt both its components? More, it can smelt bronze which has even higher temperature. Game balance thing?
  5. Shouldn’t magnetic separator have an input at bottom like a polarizer does? Anyway it has exactly 0 fluid recipes.
  6. And why can’t i access GUI of a machine if it is obstructed by a ‘not full’ block like pipe (like this shredder)

  1. Tools are Items just like all the other Items, and all Items without Material Data get voided. Changing this would break consistency in this case. Also you should make sure that you dont die next to the Crucible and have safety precautions.
  2. Good Idea, I wonder how I can best do that.
  3. You can paint GT6 TileEntities, you know?
  4. Melter can melt everything a Furnace can smelt, plus Calcite. Since it is not Calcite, and apparently not Furnaceable either, it won’t really work. Though I should probably add the Furnace tag to the Materials that are just for soldering.
  5. Some other Addon uses it on Fluids, which is why i added it. And the Magnet is above for Gravity reasons.
  6. That is to encourage people to not build ugly things with obstructed faces when doing Workshop Machines.

Edit: 2. yeah i just checked and the sound is embedded in the Magnifying Glass itself and not the Block it is clicking. So that might not be all that doable.
