Panels (covers) attach to what?

I made a bunch of asphalt panels, these can be used as covers it says. I was being cheap (and had the spare iron) because i wanted the most out of my asphalt.
But then i quickly got sad because i can’t place them on anything inexpensive…

So my questions are:

  1. Is there a cover accepting block that is super cheap to make?
  2. Would doing it that way somehow be detrimental to performance?

Plastic/Rubber/Wood Pipes and Red Alloy Wires would come to mind for that purpose. But I would highly recommend just using full Asphalt Blocks for that, just because performance.

Slabs work too ofcourse, even the upside down ones. :wink:

Slabs have the “downside” ofc of letting light through but that doesn’t matter.
