I mined down to a Quartzite vein after finding a Quartzite rock on the surface in a Desert biome but it didn’t drop Quartzite rocks when hammered. Even though the NEI info shows it from UB and not GT, I still expected it to drop the same surface rock.

Oh yeah the Rock drops are for GT Rocks, there is so many random gaps in the recipe system…
Is there a way to make the surface rocks color and info reflect their UB rocks?

That is technically possible, at least when it comes to how the rock looks like before picking it up. I will take it into consideration.
