Mid-Late game energy sources

Hi guys, i have big base with almost all basic greg machines and i am run out of energy.
I have 1 heavy oil source that gives me ~2000 eu/t after all needed processing , including gas turbine and iridium diesel engines. Also I have 2 gas sources giving me around 600 eu/t each.
I wanted to try ic2 reactors, but i remember that there is not much more energy there.

Which way should i look? Fusion Reactor?

Just use two 2x2 nuclear reacters adjucent to each other, with all the eight spaces containing U-235 rods, and use multiblock stainless steel boilder & turbine & electric generator, then you can get 2k+ eu/t power.
