I have exhausted every oil field spot in a dessert, and now I need more oil
also I have realized transferring oil by drums manually is a very inefficient approach. Any solutions for long range transportation?

I guess you’re talking about Buildcraft Oil? In which case I would suggest just using the Buildcraft Pump.
If you mean GT6 Oil, those have infinite Springs at Bedrock where you can put a Drain Cover on a Pipe or so to automatically suck up the Oil.
GT6 Oil can be in any Biome, there might even be some right next to your base.

While I agree that the whole Oil Wars thing was shitty and all, please avoid using CNN as a source for “news”. Basically anything that is called “news” inside the US is unreliable and bought by rich people who abuse it for making up politics.
