Does anyone know if it is possible to grow sunflowers? Apart from the method with bonemeal.
Bees from Gregtech 6 do not reproduce them. What needs to be changed inside the mod code so that they reproduce sunflowers like other flowers?

Oh those dont grow that way because they are two block tall and i was too lazy to implement that, that’s about all there is to it. I should probably look into that.
Also doesnt Bonemeal work in a Dispenser?

About bonemeal… I don’t really want to use it. It’s some kind of crutch I guess

I once played with Minechem, it has an exploit where you can use a particular two block flower and grow it using bonemeal and then use the grown flower to decompose it and make more bonemeal from the compounds. And you get some extra stuff leftover (hydro-carbons that can be used as fuel for example), plus you get more bonemeal so that you can even use that to grow other two block flowers that do not produce stuff for bonemeal but produce other compounds and elements, like copper or cobalt if I remember correctly (maybe even others I dont remember). It was really OP and not so hard to setup.

And now in Vanilla Minecraft you just turn Pumpkins, Melons, Kelp, Sugarcanes and the overflow of your Moss Farm into free Bonemeal.
Cactii would work too, if it wasn’t for Cactus Farms being nerfed by accident in the latest snapshots.
