Hi, I’m the mod dev of an in works 1.12 remake of gt4 called gtc expansion, and recently I’ve begun doing pipes, which is why I bring this up, as I’m questioning whether I need those modes. They seem to me to be pretty useless, especially the plain export mode, as pipes already export there fluids/items to connected blocks, which is why I am asking this, to find out if anyone ever used those modes.

You can use those Covers on NON-PIPES too you know.
As for Pipes, GT6 already defaults to ONLY IMPORT when the Pump or Conveyor Covers are attached to a Pipe, making it far easier to assemble.
