Maybe I’m wrong, but why can’t I melt gold in furnace when its melting point is 1337 kelvin, but I can melt bronze whose melting point is 1357 kelvin?

Not about Melting Point for those Materials, Iron and Gold are not supposed to go into the Furnace.
Furnace just means it is either a ridiculously low melting point or an earlygame material, which Bronze clearly is in GT6.
