Thing is, it would only be able to place “Stone” or “Cobblestone”, none of the Fancy Bricks you could make, and who would want to place such ugly Blocks. 
The whole intention behind the Module was to make it easier to do all those Cobble Generator things that people want to do by combining it with different Machines, and that is basically what it does.
