Okay from what I saw in an old Reddit post:
-Old un-migrated accounts would be deleted in march 2025
-OLD USERNAMES WOULD NOT BE FREED UP AND WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE
So yeah, no meme lord or bored player is going to be able to get the username
