Powering Large Bronze Boiler with Lava

Trying to power my large bronze boiler with lava, any way to configure fluid input hatches to accept lava instead of just air?

I thought you can only do this with a heat exchanger?

This sounds like mod, similar to GT5. What mod exactly are you playing and which minecraft version?

That might be GT5 there, in which case, just pump lava into its hatch like you would with creosote unless that fuelrecipe does not exist.

I recall that GTCEu doesn’t allow lava to be used in the LBB? There might be a jei page on boiler fuels and i fear that multi boilers doesn’t accept them. I might be wrong tho.

you may check the gregtech config files (for your version of GT) if there is a place to change boiler fuels

My apologies, using ATM9. So I believe that would be GT5. It accepts lava buckets but piping it directly from a magma crucible does not work an input bus / hatch.

From my understanding the input hatch only accepts air but I could be totally wrong. Also still using LV so that could also potentially be the culprit.

Sorry, for some reason the version of CEu I played on had lava disabled. May I ask which pipes are you using to transport the lava from the machine to the boiler?

Generally, you want to put one end of the pipe on the output of your magma crucible, enable auto extract, and put the other end of the pipe on the input hatch’s input side (with the hole and arrows pointing inwards). You can also provide some images.
