Yeah, this is my main concern. Using generic multitool index actions is a good solution, but I see another problem. The indexes are hardcoded, right? Whoever writes the swiss army knife mod is going to hardcode the knife to index 1. And let’s say the mining laser mod (IC2-style) hardcodes kill mode to index 3. But now it is impossible to bind the swiss army knife’s knife tool and the mining laser’s kill mode to the same key, in case a player wants to use ‘k’ for both.

Nah, I will make it possible to re-assign Indices within the actual Controls, so the Modder does not have to do shit to make Index Sorting happen, except they want to add a Quick Button for it inside the Pages of the Spell Book or so.
