How to get back the salt icon? As it is now rock salt

It is a Unification thing for Compat Reasons. And Salt/RockSalt are two different things, see Tooltip stating NaCl/KCl.

You could always use a Texturepack to make Harvestcrafts Salt look like GregTechs though.

You might need to adjust the Color in GIMP or so yourself.

It’s just dust with a certain color. Almost all GT6’s texture are generated like that base on what they are are the properties of the material, so the one for NaCl then: https://github.com/GregTech6/gregtech6/blob/master/src/main/resources/assets/gregtech/textures/items/materialicons/CUBE/dust.png
