Oh you misunderstand, its not the versions that are the issue, its the actual Mod List that is!
You have to have ALMOST EVERY SINGLE MOD that MFR has Compat for installed in order to fix that Bug! Not just Thermal Expansion and CoFH Core. You need that full Mod List! (other newer or older versions of those Mods should work too by the way, its just the Modpack I used for testing stuff)
