Going In Aluminium Tier Through A Backdoor

Well, I have yet another question on this topic: what does “can be overclocked without additional energy loss” exactly mean? Does it mean that recipes’ costs don’t get multiplied in these machines?

correct, cost and rate wont be affected by overclocking for those machines. Typically used on Multiblocks

And what if a recipe power requirement is right between tiers, e.g. 64 GU/t, to what tier does this recipe belong?

That counts as the lowest tier between the two

I also didn’t learn about this mechanism at first. Only after I found that the Crystallisation Crucible that I used to make Sapphire consumed FAR more Coal Coke Dust Blocks than what I calculated, did I get to understand what’s actually going on.

Also, the stone dust electrolyzing recipes consume sooooo large amounts of energy, that I doubt whether the output worths.
