I slapped a nozzle on it and clicked it with an empty drum and it won’t come out. Could it be because there is also steam inside and that wants to come out first, but it can’t be stored in a drum, so it just refuses to remove and void it?

Yep… that was it… I made a plunger and used it to void the steam, then nozzled out the butane.
