yes it tries to do it all at once, However you have done the Maths very wrong.
It is FOUR times the Energy/Tick, and HALF times Process duration.
And the DURATION is what is being multiplied when multiple Recipes are active, and not the Energy/Tick. So you really done mathed wrong there.
16 Recipes being done has the SAME energy per tick as 1 Recipe being done.
