So, what would be the intended way to keep a chunk loaded in GT6?

Use another dedicated Chunkloader Mod, sine those exist. ChickenChunks, Railcraft, etc.

Do you prevent placing of Ocean Water and the likes to avoid placeable infinite sources of them? Or is there some other reasons?

Oceans can flood Worlds, Minecraft Alpha had that Issue and it lagged like hell.

I have so much surplus Oxygen and Sulfur. So I’m considering building a large pool of Sulfuric Acid.

Those Fluids dont even have Blocks, there is a Block ID Limit overall so I very much try to avoid adding Fluid Blocks for Fluids that dont really need them.
